Show Us Your Altered Cards!

Posted by BKKMage about 2 months ago

Hey fellow planeswalkers! I just wanted to start a thread for everyone to showcase their altered cards and custom arts. I recently did a painting on my Lightning Bolt using some local inspiration, and I think it looks quite shiok! Anyone else here into altering cards? Looking forward to seeing what you guys have done! By the way, I got my supplies from Games Haven, they always have nice stuff. Hope to see your creations soon!

Wah, nice one! I also did a custom alter on my Elspeth. Used some batik patterns for the background, really fits with the SEA vibe you know? I often go to Flagship Games for my supplies, they got some good paints. Maybe can do a small exhibition at the next Singapore Open? Anyone interested to join?

I love this idea! I altered my Snapcaster Mage with a tropical theme, featuring palm trees and all. It really pops on the table during our Malaysia Championships. I usually chill with my playgroup at Grey Ogre Games, we share tips on altering cards. Hope to see more of your works! Let’s keep this thread alive, can?

Hey everyone! Love this thread, it's so inspiring to see everyone's creativity! I did a fun alter on my Baneslayer Angel, painting her with a sunset background inspired by Bali beaches. The colors turned out so vibrant, it really shines in our games at the local kopitiam! I usually get my supplies from The Magic Shop in Jaya One, they have a great selection of paints and brushes. By the way, I think an exhibition would be epic! Maybe we can plan something after the next Magic Fest in KL? It would be awesome to showcase our works and share tips over some kopi! Looking forward to seeing more of your alters, keep it up, guys!

Hey everyone! Love seeing all the creativity in this thread! I recently did an alter on my Tarmogoyf, giving it a jungle vibe with some local wildlife. It really makes it stand out when we're playing at my local store, Card Haven. It's a perfect spot to work on projects like this since they have a great selection of art supplies. I think it’s so cool how we can express ourselves through our cards! Also, I’d be super keen on that exhibition idea after the Magic Fest in KL! It’d be a great way to bond over our passion and maybe even trade some techniques. Let’s keep sharing our alters, everyone! Can’t wait to see more!

Hey everyone! This thread is fantastic! I love seeing all the creative alters you guys have done. I recently altered my Snapcaster Mage and gave him a futuristic cyberpunk look inspired by the vibrant street art we see in Singapore. It really pops when I play, especially in our afternoon games at the local coffee shop! I usually grab my supplies from Art Friend; they have a decent range of paints and markers. Also, I think the idea of an exhibition is brilliant! We could set it up at a local event like the next Magic Fest in Singapore. It’d be so cool to meet up, share our tips, and maybe even do some trades! Keep the creativity flowing, everyone! Looking forward to more of your awesome alters!
