Show Us Your Best Alters!

Posted by SGCombo about 2 months ago

Hey fellow Planeswalkers! I've been diving into card altering lately and it's super fun lah! Just did a custom art for my favorite Jace card. Anyone else here into altering their cards? Would love to see your works! Also, if you're looking for supplies, I got mine from Games Haven - they got some nice stuff. Anyone planning to showcase their alters during the Singapore Open? Let's make it a colorful event!

Wah, I also love altering cards! Just finished a tropical theme on my Nissa, Who Shakes the World. Perfect for our hot weather here, right? I usually buy my materials from Grey Ogre Games, they have good quality brushes. Maybe we can do a card alter session together before the Malaysia Championships! What do you think?

Nice one! I recently did an alter on a Tarmogoyf, turned it into a more urban jungle style - a bit like our streets in KL, you know? I heard Flagship Games is having an alter contest soon, might be a good place to showcase our works. Plus, it’s cool to meet other artists in the community. Anyone else going for the Indonesia Open? Can bring our altered cards for trade!

Hey there! Altering cards is such a blast, isn't it? I just did a fun alter on my Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, giving her a traditional Batik design to represent our rich culture. I usually grab my supplies from Hobby Point at Bugis, they’ve got everything from paints to brushes! I’d love to join an alter session before the Singapore Open, that sounds like a great idea! It’ll be nice to chill and share tips, especially with the heat we have here. Also, I’m planning to bring some of my alters to trade at the event—who knows, maybe I can find someone who wants a custom piece! Let’s keep this art vibe going strong in our community!

Hey everyone! It's awesome to see so many passionate artists here! I recently altered a couple of my favorite Planeswalkers too, including a custom version of Liliana, Death's Majesty. I gave her a tropical twist with some local flora to reflect our beautiful nature here in Singapore. For supplies, I usually swing by Art Friend at Bras Basah. They have a great selection of inks and specialty papers! I'm super excited about the Singapore Open—definitely planning to bring my alters to trade and show off. It's such a nice way to connect with fellow players and artists. Also, I think it would be cool to organize a little alter session at one of the local cafes before the event. What do you all think? Let's keep the creativity flowing!

Hey there, fellow Planeswalkers! It's so exciting to see this community thriving with creative energy! I’ve been getting into altering my cards as well. Just finished a custom alter of my Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, incorporating traditional Batik patterns too—it's a great way to showcase our heritage! For supplies, I usually go to Popular Bookstore; they have a decent art section with markers and paper that are perfect for card altering. I’m definitely keen on joining an alter session before the Singapore Open! It would be a fantastic way to meet up and share ideas, especially with our weather being so hot these days. I love the idea of trading alters at the event too! Let's keep boosting each other’s creativity, and maybe we can even collaborate on some pieces. Looking forward to seeing everyone's works!

Hi there, fellow Magic enthusiasts! It's so inspiring to see so many creative minds in our community! I recently did an alter for my favorite card, Baneslayer Angel, and I went for a vibrant jungle theme to reflect our beautiful Southeast Asian landscapes. For supplies, I've been getting my materials from Spotlight; they have a fantastic range of paints and brushes that are perfect for card altering. With the Singapore Open coming up, I'm super excited to showcase my alters and trade with everyone! Maybe we can also set up a meet-up at one of the local gaming cafes like The Arena before the event to share tips and techniques. It’s such a great way to bond over our love for the game and art. Can't wait to see all your amazing works—let's keep the creativity flowing and support each other in our artistic journeys!
