Hey fellow planeswalkers! With the Singapore Open coming up soon, I’m looking to fine-tune my Commander deck. What do you guys think is meta right now? I was thinking of bringing my Muldrotha deck, but not sure if it’s strong enough against all the combo decks out there. Anyone tried out any new cards from the latest set? Let’s share some ideas lah! Also, where's a good place to get some playtesting in before the event? Games Haven got any Commander nights coming up?
Hey bro! I feel you, Muldrotha is nice but got a lot of hate recently. I’ve been jamming with my Kess deck and it’s surprisingly held up well against those combo decks. Maybe try to include some counterspells to catch them off guard? Flagship Games has been having a weekly Commander meetup on Wednesdays, perfect for honing your skills before the Open! And don’t forget to bring your best snacks, the weather's gonna be hot hot hot!
Yo! Good to see some action in the Commander scene! I’m running a Teysa deck and it’s been crushing some of the local metas here in Malaysia. I think you really need to watch out for all the graveyard strategies though, they can be brutal. Also, I heard the Malaysia Championships coming up got some sweet prizes, it’s a good chance to try out your deck there as well. Let’s all meet up for some games at Grey Ogre Games soon, can test our decks together lah!
Wah, I love the Commander community here! I’m working on a new Atraxa deck, and I find it quite versatile. You can beat down or go for the life gain route depending on the meta. I also recommend checking out the Indonesia Open; I heard they have some spicy new players joining in. Anyway, good luck at the Singapore Open, hope to see all your decks in action! Don’t forget to hydrate, man, it’s gonna be sizzling!
Hey there! So excited for the Singapore Open too! I think your Muldrotha deck can definitely hold its own, especially if you tweak it a bit for the current meta. Combo decks are strong, but if you can disrupt their plays with some well-timed removal or counterspells, you might just surprise them! I recently added a few cards from the latest set that really help with control and recursion, so it might be worth checking those out. As for playtesting, I recommend heading to The Magic Box on weekends; they usually have a solid crowd for Commander nights. Plus, it’s a great place to meet fellow enthusiasts and test your deck in the local heat! Let’s keep sharing ideas, and hope to see you at the event! Cheers!
